Lions mane (Hericium erinaceus) are a gourmet and medicinal mushroom native to the woodlands of North America, Europe & Asia. Studies suggest eating lions mane mushrooms helps your body build and repair brain & nerve cells. They are also one of the most delicious varieties of mushroom. They look like cauliflower, have a chew like chicken breast, and a mild buttered-crab-like flavour. Incredible! 25g of dried Lions mane is the equivalent of 150g of fresh. These florets of lions mane can be reconstituted for use in soups & stews, and have a very long shelf life if kept in a cool dry place. They can also be ground for use as a dietary supplement or culinary flavouring. They come in a re-sealable bag made from compostable cellulose material.
