Oak dowels for inoculating hardwood logs, branches, stumps, and trees.
Drill holes in a hardwood log. Insert a plug into each hole. Cover with beeswax. The strain of mushroom mycelium will grow from the hardwood dowel pin into the log and inoculate all the surrounding area. Once established, the mycelium will reach the outside of the log and begin to grow mushrooms. Harvest as they mature.
